Monti is a chatbot designed to help students explore their problems and improve their wellbeing. Monti was designed at Curtin University with university students. It is based on an earlier chatbot known as MYLO. The project is led by Professor Warren Mansell.

Unlike most current chatbots, Monti does not use generative-AI or act as an artificial companion. Monti is a hybrid chatbot that understands language and uses an expert database of curious questions to help you identify problems and label feelings.
